Welcome to Hickville High

Welcome to Hickville High by Mary Karlik
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Great Read
Welcome To Hickville High is a great coming of age story. Kelsey Quinn is thrown into another dimension when her family relocates to Texas. She faces the anxiety of a new school, new friends, and mean girls. She learns a tough lesson about responsibilities, owning up to your mistakes, and making better boyfriend choices. The author brings the characters to life in this sweet romantic story. Her knowledge of Texas is spot-on. I enjoyed reading the fun facts about the state. If you’ve ever driven through Texas, you’ll understand how much truth is in the quote on chapter 27.
